Questions answered by Roz Pappalardo.
Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars
We’ll be flyering outside people’s weddings, attending hen’s nights in costume and proposing to strangers on the Royal Mile. We’ll be conducting free to public weddings on the Royal Mile. Who wants a wedding? You want a wedding, and so do you!
Q2: All shows will have their tough days. What sophisticated self-care strategies will you employ to survive?
A balanced wellness routine consisting of coffee (espresso and soy flat white thanks), dog videos, locking ourselves in separate toilet cubicles and immediately getting back to work.
Q3: If your show suddenly developed a massive ego and became the biggest diva in the 2026 Fringe, what absurd, hyper-specific item would be mandatory on its dressing room rider?
Its rider would demand exactly 143 red rose petals, one emotionally available best man who looks a bit like Ryan Gosling, and a legally authorised celebrant on standby at all times.
Q4: If all the shows running right now were at a massive Fringe house party, what is your show doing?
Organising a wedding between two strangers, appointing witnesses from the kitchen and convincing everyone it’s a brilliant idea.
