Questions answered by Margaret Curry.
Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars
Eye contact. Relentless, unblinking Royal Mile eye contact until a stranger takes a flyer purely to escape me. I have the stamina of a woman with three one-acts to fill and absolutely no shame left to lose.
Q2: If your show walked into a cocktail bar, what would it order?
Three drinks — we’re a triple bill. A neat bourbon that’s seen things, a sharp little gin fizz that won’t shut up, and a glass of something you sip slowly while remembering someone you loved. Wilson in a round.
Q3: If all the shows running right now were at a massive Fringe house party, what is your show doing?
Not dancing. We’re the ones in the kitchen at 1am having the real conversation — the one that starts as small talk about coffee and ends with someone quietly telling the truth about their life. You’ll remember us.
Q4: How will the audience remember you the morning after?
Not with a hangover — with a phone call you’ve been putting off. Wilson sneaks up on you. You laugh, you forget you’re watching a play, then a week later you’re crying in a Tesco. You’re welcome.
