Questions answered by Evie Fehilly.
Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars
Our show is about climate change so naturally, we arranged a 37° heatwave to rehearse in, It was incredibly expensive to arrange and everyone almost died of heatstroke but I think we’ve redefined immersive theatre!
Q2: If your show suddenly developed a massive ego and became the biggest diva in the 2026 Fringe, what absurd, hyper-specific item would be mandatory on its dressing room rider?
Nothing outrageous. Just that everything MUST be hand-knitted by someone’s nan using recycled cardigans. We’re talking, crocheted mirrors. Crocheted chairs. Crocheted M&M’s. And we need the nan’s full name. Otherwise how can we verify the ethical provenance?
Q3: If you brought this show home for the holidays, how would your parents react to them?
“Oh God, Can’t we just pretend the world’s not on fire until after pudding?”
Q4: If all the shows running right now were at a massive Fringe house party, what is your show doing?
They arrive in sequins and boogie. Two BuzzBalls in, they corner someone to explain why concrete is civilisation’s greatest mistake, with an accompanying contemporary dance. After singing ‘I will Survive’ they pass out in a lamb kebab after insisting they’re ‘ethically’ vegan.
