Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars
Our show’s at 1.50 pm so we are seriously considering free lunch for our audiences…if that proves too costly we’ll be out in costume begging or maybe we’ll take a more aggressive Elizabethan approach and threaten to chop off some heads in an attempt to boost sales…
Q2: If your show walked into a cocktail bar, what would it order?
That one is easy, a Bloody Mary… of course. But we’d ask for the recipe in code, insist someone else taste it first, and add our own twist!
Q3: Cancel culture has finally come for your show. What sins has it committed?
Is it sinful as a British actor to attempt a Scottish accent in Edinburgh? To tell the story of one of Scotlands most iconic figures and dare to mess with it? What if we pinky promise you that it’s worth it – do we get to stay on?
Q4: If your show suddenly developed a massive ego and became the biggest diva in the 2026 Fringe, what absurd, hyper-specific item would be mandatory on its dressing room rider?
Well, the Queen of Scots had some exceptional riders, so to honour her spirit, we’d demand the finest white wine to wash our faces with, 22 adorable lap dogs, and being the first Scottish female to play golf, the Honma BERES 5-Star line (the queen of all clubs).
