A Fringe Quickie (#334) with ‘PACE’

Questions answered by Below Zero.

Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars

I mean, I’ll literally have my girlfriend standing on my shoulders handing out some sorry pieces of paper (our flyers) in hope of making people come see our show where they need to pay to see me doing the same thing – but deep.

Q2: If your show walked into a cocktail bar, what would it order?

Nothing too fancy, maybe an amaretto-based negroni with two types of sugar melted over a kindling firebed burning with cinnamon, gin distilled in northern Sweden, rested on moss for a couple of years before being filtered through birch leaves or… you know a beer.

Q3: Cancel culture has finally come for your show. What sins has it committed?

The places I need to touch to catch my partner during this performance… Honestly, one of the first moves you learn in partner acrobatics is how to come down from a trick. We call that the bum off. You guys can picture the rest.

Q4: The Fringe is horribly expensive. How are you financing this run? Did you remortgage your house, sell your granny, or start an illicit side hustle?

Wait… we’re paying all this ourselves?
