A Fringe Quickie (#216) with ‘Table for Two’

Questions answered by Jack Kenyon & Isabelle Dooley-Carmichael.

Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars

We’re planning to do the only thing that can set us apart from the other flyers: magic! Catch us on the Royal Mile doing tricks and handing out souvenirs that’ll at the very least remind you of a fabulous EdFringe, and at the very most convince you to grab a ticket!

Q2: If your show walked into a cocktail bar, what would it order?

We wouldn’t need to order a drink. As you’ll see at the show, we can make our drinks appear from thin air.

Q3: We all have weird pre-performance rituals. What is yours, and how confused would a normal person be if they walked in on you doing it?

Checking that no handkerchiefs have found their way into our sleeves or any rabbits into our hats. We’re trying to make a modern magic show, not relive the old classics.

Q4: How will the audience remember you the morning after?

Our show brings fun and mystery back into magic with no camera trickery, no stooges. We hope they’ll wake up curious and maybe a little frustrated, still trying to figure out what’s going on behind the curtain.
