A Fringe Quickie (#376) with ‘Baby Everything’

Questions answered by Lee Minora.

Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars

Even though my show is 100% inappropriate for kids and families, I’m not correcting people who think it’s for kids. I’m letting anyone in! Trauma be damned! Bring your children to this R-rated morning extravaganza of existential dread! They’ll probably enjoy the dancing parts.

Q2: If you brought this show home for the holidays, how would your parents react to them?

My parents would be totally polite and lovely to Baby Everything and then they’d maybe ask it to put some more clothes on. But in a super sensitive way. You can’t shake my parents manners. They’re top notch hosts.

Q3: If all the shows running right now were at a massive Fringe house party, what is your show doing?

Oh, Baby Everything, would have taken the festivities too far, too early and now be throwing up in the street while some kind stranger holds its hair and pats its back. Then it would get sent home in a cab while protesting that it’s fine and doesn’t want to leave.

Q4: How will the audience remember you the morning after?

They’ll probably be thinking about my breasts. But they shouldn’t be. It’s really quite shameful of them. The show is about some serious matters, so it’s actually really pervy that that’s whats on their minds the next day. Grow up, people.
