Questions answered by Kristen Costello.
Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars
Begging and/or Flirting. Literally. Last year I dressed as a chicken and ran around the streets flyering looking like a fool. Also giving ANYONE and nearly everyone a comp helped too. Maybe I’ll download Tindr or something.
Q2: We all have weird pre-performance rituals. What is yours, and how confused would a normal person be if they walked in on you doing it?
I need nobody to talk to me. I need to listen to Hairspray, Little Shop or Horrors, or the Glee cover of Gloria – and no human interaction. No normal people allowed.
Q3: If your show suddenly developed a massive ego and became the biggest diva in the 2026 Fringe, what absurd, hyper-specific item would be mandatory on its dressing room rider?
ICED CAWWFEEEE – not these ICED AMERICANOSSS – CAWFEEE – like an NYC (that’s NEW YORK CITY) CAWFEEEE. BLACK. Thank you.
Q4: How will the audience remember you the morning after?
“Can you believe what we saw? Can you believe someone in the audience actually offered them that information?” OR they will break-up with their partner, idk.
