A Fringe Quickie (#369) with ‘Taiwan Season: The Wall’

Questions answered by Vicky Yen.

Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars

The team of Seed Dance Company will be running around in Edinburgh to spread “secret seeds” all over the place, waiting for them to BLOOM! Bloom in Summerhall Arts SEATING AREAS!

Q2: If your show walked into a cocktail bar, what would it order?

After our explosively dynamic, emotionally provocative performance?! Of course Taiwan Season: The Wall would love to have some disco music with a Slow Comfortable Screw against “Our Wall”.

Q3: All shows will have their tough days. What sophisticated self-care strategies will you employ to survive?

GOOD FOOD. Food is essential to every culture. To cure homesick, our “Chef” would bring special ingredients to prepare what we called the “Soup for our Souls” ~~~ Chicken Soup with Preserved Radish and Pineapple. Curious enough right?

Q4: If all the shows running right now were at a massive Fringe house party, what is your show doing?

Having fun with airport baggage wrapping machines, wrapping ourselves up and drinking energy drinks at the same time! Yelling, “No worries, JUST DANCE!”
