Questions answered by Guilherme Torres.
Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars
The most desperate tactic would be to “crash” other productions with a performance to promote *Vidrado*. On the streets, I’d spread Brazilian joy with a *pandeiro*. Finally, with the help of a *Saci*, I’d cast a spell on critics and journalists to ensure our show got five stars.
Q2: If your show walked into a cocktail bar, what would it order?
A caipirinha made with cachaça. With this drink, the moment I look at the bottles on the bar, my circus-performer instinct will challenge me to stack them. And for sure, the only balance I’ll completely lose is that of my own dignity on stage.
Q3: All shows will have their tough days. What sophisticated self-care strategies will you employ to survive?
The show demands absolute focus. That’s why my wellness routine is so refined:a light feijoada in the morning, balanced out by a salad at night.I train my mind by washing dishes while stacking plates in the sink.To relax,I take a nap on an authentic bed of nails I got from a fakir.
Q4: If your show suddenly developed a massive ego and became the biggest diva in the 2026 Fringe, what absurd, hyper-specific item would be mandatory on its dressing room rider?
Guaraná and whisky served in crystal glasses. While pop divas might demand chewing gum of a specific color, Vidrado sets out to invade the Scottish palate by mixing whisky with Brazil’s most famous soft drink. If the artist’s stomach survives, the show is guaranteed.
