What is Fringe Quickies?
Fringe Quickies provides a platform for artists to share the heart, soul, or unhinged brilliance of their show in a context that audiences trust. Last year, nearly 10% of Fringe shows featured in the series, published daily on our dedicated Fringe Quickies doomscroll in the lead-up to the festival.
How do I take part?
You answer four questions: one that everyone gets, and three you pick at random. Each response is capped at 280 characters. Essays don’t put bums on seats, so make every word count. Your job is to stop them in their tracks with your sparkling answers.

Submissions close 13 July 2025, and will be published daily from 16 June to 27 July.
Can I win anything?
Yes, glory! We’ll be naming two unofficial “winners”: the audience favourite (most viewed) and our personal pick (the one that tickled us most). Something you can quote in your press, drop in your promo, or quietly milk for the rest of August.
How can I support the site?
