Q1: If you could take just one record with you to survive the Fringe — your ultimate comfort, hype, or grounding track — what would it be, and why?
The theme from Back to the Future by Big Al Silvestri. I cannot put into words how I felt as a child watching Back to the Future! This track gives me the chills. If I listen to that and give my audiences 1% of my childhood excitement then I am WINNING.
Q2: What’s the moment in your show that makes people laugh when they’re not sure they’re supposed to?
I have a joke about ADHD and I keep forgetting to do it
Q3: How will the audience remember you the morning after?
One guy once said to me he thinks he left my show less intelligent than when he went in. I think there is a lot of highbrow comedy going around and I am happy to be your guilty secret.
Q4: If your show had a criminal record, what would it be for?
Almost certainly copyright infringement. Thankfully we don’t make money at the fringe so no point trying to sue me!
