Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars
I’ve reached the stage of Edinburgh marketing where I’m collecting international brand logos .If ticket sales get desperate enough, the show may become secondary to the advertising space. I’m basically turning the poster into a billboard with a theatre performance attached.
Q2: The Fringe is horribly expensive. How are you financing this run? Did you remortgage your house, sell your granny, or start an illicit side hustle?
God Damn! Do you know about currency! I started to sell my clothes – secondhand always is the best idea! I am also selling some merchs in my country – now no one ever knows abut the play that’s why they want to buy. Also I sent lots of email to brands-worth it!
Q3: All shows will have their tough days. What sophisticated self-care strategies will you employ to survive?
Early in the morning I am walking/running near the river.- little bit of streching. Then I look around in Poundland – because it always amazes me:) Then I pick some bakeries that makes me happy in the morning.
Q4: If your show suddenly developed a massive ego and became the biggest diva in the 2026 Fringe, what absurd, hyper-specific item would be mandatory on its dressing room rider?
Oo that’s a great question! My list already ready! M&M with peanuts , skin-on cashews , bananas, a disposable camera, smoky roasted eggplant hummus and crackers, a bottle of Chardonnay, Fresh flowers
