Questions answered by Claudia Fielding.
Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars
I do intend to be walking around the Royal Mile and Bristo Square dressed as an egg flyering. I’d like to think Eddie, my mascot, looks a little more put together than some of the haggard Mickey Mouse’s seen wandering around Leicester Square and won’t scare people off.
Q2: Cancel culture has finally come for your show. What sins has it committed?
PETA shut down the show due to egg abuse.
Q3: All shows will have their tough days. What sophisticated self-care strategies will you employ to survive?
To fully be absorbed into the character, I intend to eat so many eggs that I become maybe 4% egg by the end of the run. Upping my protein is self-care right?
Q4: If all the shows running right now were at a massive Fringe house party, what is your show doing?
In the back garden, psyching out all the other shows by doing pre-race stretches and sprints between the back wall of the house and the climbing frame, stopping only to readjust the body of the mascot suit for optimum vision.
