Questions answered by Margherita Scorletti.
Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars
Come on, we’re italian! We’ll promise a post-show buffet with Parmigiano Reggiano, Prosciutto di Parma, and glasses of Franciacorta. Then we’ll come up with some excuse for why the buffet isn’t happening. By then, though, they’ll already have seen the show.
Q2: The Fringe is horribly expensive. How are you financing this run? Did you remortgage your house, sell your granny, or start an illicit side hustle?
In our show, ten people get to live a brand-new life. We’re hoping at least one of them wins the lottery, becomes a millionaire… and feels generous towards the people who gave them that second chance.
Q3: All shows will have their tough days. What sophisticated self-care strategies will you employ to survive?
Drink, drink, drink… until we’re seeing double, triple, quadruple. That way, the theatre will look packed.
Q4: If all the shows running right now were at a massive Fringe house party, what is your show doing?
La danza della pancia come Chunk dei Goonies, ci piace farci notare.
