A Fringe Quickie (#87) with ‘Juliette Burton: Villain Era’

Questions answered by Juliette Burton.

Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars

Spending 2 years creating the silliest, sexiest, nerdiest show I’ve ever created and performing it at UK Games Expo, MCM Comic Con, Fantasy Forest Festival, Eastercon, Brighton Fringe – generally making it my life… is that marketing? Or questionable life choices?

Q2: If your show walked into a cocktail bar, what would it order?

Anything from The Cocktail Geeks in Edinburgh – nerdy, unnecessarily detailed and sexier because of that… with dark lighting to accentuate the villainous cheekbones

Q3: If your show suddenly developed a massive ego and became the biggest diva in the 2026 Fringe, what absurd, hyper-specific item would be mandatory on its dressing room rider?

100 comic books and a BDSM harness.

Q4: If all the shows running right now were at a massive Fringe house party, what is your show doing?

Making out with the hottest nerds in a polycule in the gamer room
