Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars
18 years ago I fathered a number of children (as a child myself at the time). My venue is 18+ so they’ll finally have access. I’m hoping the sheer number of discarded offspring keen to see their elsuive old man in the flesh will bulk up the numbers.
Q2: We all have weird pre-performance rituals. What is yours, and how confused would a normal person be if they walked in on you doing it?
My pre-performance ritual is to spend up to two years putting the show together. Then I have a little dance and do a vocal warm up. Then I scream my way through it for an hour. People are very confused by all stages of the process.
Q3: If all the shows running right now were at a massive Fringe house party, what is your show doing?
Having a really, really intense chat whilst chewing a lot.
Q4: How will the audience remember you the morning after?
“I think wearing velvet to perform that show was a poor choice”
