A Fringe Quickie (#519) with ‘Endgame by Samuel Beckett’

Questions answered by Henry Maynard.

Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars

The most desperate of all: paying more money than a nurse earns in a year in the vague hope of coverage

Q2: If your show walked into a cocktail bar, what would it order?

An old fashioned (to go with its painkillers)

Q3: Cancel culture has finally come for your show. What sins has it committed?

Meaninglessness, cruelty, misogyny (the only woman in the piece has the fewest lines)

Q4: If all the shows running right now were at a massive Fringe house party, what is your show doing?

Sitting still and silent in the corner, then getting up and manically running in circles on the dance floor, then back to the corner, on repeat, until morning and beyond when everyone else has left the party
