Questions answered by Lucia August/Everybody Can Dance.

Q1: If you could take just one record with you to survive the Fringe — your ultimate comfort, hype, or grounding track — what would it be, and why?

“I Will Survive” by Gloria Gaynor. At 70+, I’ve survived being “too fat to dance” and divorce from a woman I was bonded to for 16 lifetimes in an extraterrestrial ceremony. Gloria gets it – we’re fierce and not going anywhere!

Q2: If your show had a pick-up line, what would it be?

Hey gorgeous, Let’s talk aging, death, and those secrets you thought were buried. I’m 70+, fearless, and brought snacks for after the existential makeover.

Q3: If your show had a criminal record, what would it be for?

Breaking and entering people’s emotional walls, grand theft of family secrets, and aggravated assault on comfort zones. Multiple counts of forcing feelings about mortality while wearing sequins.

Q4: If your show sent a drunk text at 3am, what would it say?

hey u up?? that weird thing u do that u think no one sees?? WE ALL SEE IT AND ITS ADORABLE also ur grandma just texted me from heaven she says hi and she’s proud ok don’t ignore this 💕✨
