A Fringe Quickie (#558) with ‘July 15th to …’

Questions answered by Stephanie Chu.

Q1: Aside from this Quickie, what is the most desperate marketing tactic you plan on using to get bums in seats this August? 280 chars

Our marketing strategy? Turning Ella into an influencer. She’s posting her daily life, oversharing her feelings, and somehow has a healthier social media presence than the production team. Hopefully she’ll convince people to come before we have to.

Q2: If your show suddenly developed a massive ego and became the biggest diva in the 2026 Fringe, what absurd, hyper-specific item would be mandatory on its dressing room rider?

Exactly one lemon. Not sliced. Not squeezed. Just there, silently judging everyone.

Q3: If all the shows running right now were at a massive Fringe house party, what is your show doing?

Our show disappeared for an hour because it needed “some air”, came back with a brand-new life plan, cried in the kitchen over a playlist, then somehow ended up comforting everyone else at 2am.

Q4: How will the audience remember you the morning after?

Hopefully they’ll wake up thinking less about bipolar disorder as a diagnosis, and more about the person living with it. If they also find themselves noticing their own heartbeat for a second, we’ve done our job.
