Questions answered by Joz Norris.
Q1: If you could take just one record with you to survive the Fringe — your ultimate comfort, hype, or grounding track — what would it be, and why?
“Wrecking Ball” by Bruce Springsteen (an original song which just happens to share a title with the Miley Cyrus number rather than being a Miley Cyrus cover, although I think Bruce could pull off swinging naked on an actual wrecking ball just as well as Miley).
Q2: What’s the moment in your show that makes people laugh when they’re not sure they’re supposed to?
I think this is a good description of the entire show. I like to keep audiences on their toes. “Is this bit deliberate?” Who knows? Life is a dance! So put your shoes on!
Q3: If your show sent a drunk text at 3am, what would it say?
I just wanteo you eot know tharbv what we had was reallyb pspicail. I wasd jutst in a bar and iour song scame obn and I just wanted yiu t i jnow that. DFo you everb thinkn abuot me???
Q4: What’s the temperature of your show?
My show is a chill wind that blows through the audience’s soul. You might think this sounds like a bad thing for a comedy show, but the audience has no choice but to huddle together for warmth, thus building community in the face of my show’s icy indifference.
