"Christopher Maltman, a singer at the very top of his considerable game," elevates what could have been an evening of nostalgic wallowing to close this year's Festival.

It just needs a great band (which the Melbourne certainly is) going all-out to deliver the score with verve and commitment. And that’s exactly what we got
