Questions answered by Fagner Rodrigues.
Q1: If you could take just one record with you to survive the Fringe — your ultimate comfort, hype, or grounding track — what would it be, and why?
We would bring, collectively, Roberto Carlos’ “As Canções Que Você Fez pra Mim” (The songs you wrote to me). The tracks on this album are fundamental to the construction of our show. Hidden in my luggage, I’d bring “Caju” (Cashew), by Liniker, my favourite of the moment.
Q2: If your show sent a drunk text at 3am, what would it say?
It would have to be an audio, singing a song on the show that says “I wanna be your song, I wanna be your key. To rub myself against your lips and be your lipstick. The soap that smoothes your skin under the shower. The towel that slides through your whole body”.
Q3: If your show had a criminal record, what would it be for?
Attempt to murder! We would certainly be accused of trying to murder a Shakespeare classic.
Q4: What’s something your show reveals about you that might surprise a date?
That Brazilians are very good kissers! Anyone in the audience can ask for a tryout!
