Questions answered by Kezia Norton.
Q1: If you could take just one record with you to survive the Fringe — your ultimate comfort, hype, or grounding track — what would it be, and why?
“Pockets Full of Sunshine” by Natasha Bedingfield. This song is of resilience. “Do what you want but you’re never gonna break me.”. It reminds me how far I’ve come, and how far I’m going. When life hands you pockets full of pain, you get to choose what else goes in there too.
Q2: How will the audience remember you the morning after?
The morning after, they’ll find themselves texting someone they love, or finally having that conversation they’ve been avoiding, or simply walking a little lighter knowing they aren’t alone – and that they too can fill their pockets with sunshine, even in the darkest moments.
Q3: What’s something your show reveals about you that might surprise a date?
I’ve come a long way baby. I’m stronger for it. Also, less annoying because of therapy!
Q4: If your show sent a drunk text at 3am, what would it say?
The alcohol I just drank has insomnia, and told me to text you!
