Q1: If you could take just one record with you to survive the Fringe — your ultimate comfort, hype, or grounding track — what would it be, and why?
Feel it Still’ by Portugal. The Man – can you name any other track with so much funk purpose?! You’ll recognise me on the Royal Mile dishing out flyers by my groovy strut as I imagine that song playing in my head on repeat!
Q2: If your show sent a drunk text at 3am, what would it say?
Dude – another thought! That thing? KaBOOM! Y’know? Am thinking we need to tell people. Yh? Totally a great idea? Mebbe. Actually … scratch that. Let’s just keep on rolling, but a wee bit wiser. Y’sayin’?
Q3: What’s the moment in your show that makes people laugh when they’re not sure they’re supposed to?
The moment when Frankenstein’s monster describes himself as being bacon and sausages brought back to life! The absurdity is profound, yet it always makes a few people titter, but I don’t mind. As long as I don’t offend any vegetarians / vegans!
Q4: If your show walked into a bar, what would it order?
A pint of strong porter/stout – purposeful, punchy and a great start to the evening. Anything else would just be too sweet and serious!
