Questions answered by Florrie Taylor.
Q1: If you could take just one record with you to survive the Fringe — your ultimate comfort, hype, or grounding track — what would it be, and why?
Ouai ouai by Ouai Stéphane. This funky track muscled its way into our playlist when we were writing the show in 2024. It sits amongst Madonna’s Material Girl and AC/DC’s Highway to Hell, giving a good indication of what to expect from Terry’s: camp, fun a bit of weird thrown in.
Q2: How will the audience remember you the morning after?
They’ll have show tunes ringing in their ears, their stomachs will still be flipping remembering what Terry did and how could you forget that very special balloon?!
Q3: Is your show the type to leave a toothbrush — or just some wild memories and a dent in the pillow?
Ours would leave a trail of red, white and blue balloons with remnants of a gold glitter curtain – You know you had a great night, something feels a bit weird, but you know you want to do it all over again!
Q4: What’s the moment in your show that makes people laugh when they’re not sure they’re supposed to?
If we were hypothetically to list all the US invasions up until 1995…accompanied with a passionate rendition of God Bless America – what would you do?
