Questions answered by Lauren O’Brien.
Q1: If you could take just one record with you to survive the Fringe — your ultimate comfort, hype, or grounding track — what would it be, and why?
I’d take David Bowie’s “The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust.” That album is saturated with creativity, intrigue, and genius…I’d listen over and over to absorb by osmosis!
Q2: If your show had a pick-up line, what would it be?
“Was your face a chair in a past life? Cause I really want to sit on it.” – Lolo’s Boyfriend Show
Q3: What moment in your show would your grandma absolutely hate (or absolutely love)?
She might want to close her eyes and cover her ears when I orgasm on stage… while I’m playing a guy. But I’m sure you all can handle that!!
Q4: What’s the moment in your show that makes people laugh when they’re not sure they’re supposed to?
Maybe the moment where a lady love addict jokes about having S&M sex with prostitute? Go ahead and laugh though…it’ll be dark in the theatre!
