Questions answered by Andy Linden.
Q1: If you could take just one record with you to survive the Fringe — your ultimate comfort, hype, or grounding track — what would it be, and why?
All Along the Watch Tower by Jimi Hendrix – cos it’s got a relentless, hyper sound, that always shakes me up and propels me into motion.
Q2: If your show had a criminal record, what would it be for?
Despite being about a hopeless outmoded inveterate gambler, this show is criminally hopeful.
Q3: If your show had a pick-up line, what would it be?
I’ve got a dead cert on the 2.15 at York. And I’m a dead cert too if you’re interested!
Q4: What’s something your show reveals about you that might surprise a date?
Despite being an incorrigible betting man, head turned by the slightest provocation, drawn into the maddest of scrapes, this show’s main character (and I) are passionate, idealistic and hopelessly romantic.
