I think we’ve got to find a way of finding a pragmatic balance in my mind, I don’t know what the Cockburn Society’s view of the world is, but I have a feeling yeah — and this is a hunch – that they’d quite like Edinburgh to go back to being a sort of Georgian museum with wafting harpsicord music coming out of a window somewhere. That strikes me as being the most awful kind of privilege.
